The Innovation + Design Hub powered by Blackstone Launchpad is pleased to host their Speaker Series with Justin Shen, founder and owner of ASIP Coffee Roasters & Slick Coffee Co.
This entrepreneurship Speaker Series provides an opportunity to learn from Justin's real-life experience of becoming an entrepreneur, he will share his journey and then answer questions from the event attendees.
About the speaker:
After graduating with a microbiology degree from San Francisco State University, Justin quickly noticed that coffee is one of the most consumed beverages, which has so much potential, especially in the world of specialty coffee. He believes that coffee beans, as the seeds of fruits, can be brewed and taste juice, as opposed to just bitter black water. Therefore he decided to make a difference in the coffee game and open up ASIP Coffee Roasters in Merced in 2017. Then as of 2019, ASIP has two locations in Shen’s hometown Suzhoua a prosperous city in the Jiangsu region, 30 miles west of the Shanghai metropolis.
Food will be provided, space for this event is limited. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
