UC Merced Oxygen Fund

Graduating with a great idea?

Take flight with the UC Merced Oxygen Fund. The Oxygen Fund is designed to help bring your idea, invention, business, class project, capstone, venture, or hackathon idea to the next step. This award is meant to give you oxygen, or breathing room, to spend time pursuing and developing your project. Through this grant, you can receive mentoring and financial support to give you runway. If you don’t design the future, who will?

Who should apply?

UC Merced undergraduate students graduating in May 2022 or UC Merced undergraduate alumni who graduated in Fall 2021, with plans to explore the viability of a project with well-defined and quantifiable goals and a target audience or user base. Open to any major.
